I was walking, and discovered a sleeping fawn, alone, curled into a hollow. My steps were so gentle that it did not wake. Where was its mother?
I was doing the morning chores, and saw where the fence had been gnawed through. The creatures using this opening, where were they going? From where? To where?
I was reading, and happened upon a familiar passage that seemed fresh and new. Why had I never seen its message in this way?
❖
