Unique Humanity
We are more alike than different.
My circumstances feel so unique to me. Who else has experienced this same combination of pressures and joys?
Yet my reactions and feelings in the world are the same as anyone else: peace, worry, fear, elation, strength, anxiety, anger, relief, love.
❖
Are my feelings different than any of my neighbors? Is the special combination of them I feel right now, truly any different?
Lord, let me see how I am the same as others around me. Let me see our common humanity.

Consider:
Can I feel a true bond and identity with those around me?
