The Real World
Is this real?
The winds blow away the leaves I had carefully piled. In the face of overwhelming force, was the effort to tidy my yard futile?
The wind, invisible, is it an unseen reality?
I can stack a pile of wood and see it tomorrow, can feel its weight. The winds may blow, yet still the logs persist. How real is the wind then?
❖
Is this place, this world, the real world? Or does it hide another, more important reality?
Let me peel back layer upon layer, Lord, that I may see clearly the real world around me, even the invisible parts.
