The Mountains
Made for whom?
Did you make the mountains for me, Lord, or for all of us?
If they are for everyone, what miracle that we all benefit! We are all differently situated.
One of us needs water -- from the mountains comes the river.
One of us needs hope -- over the mountains comes dawn.
I need a home -- into the mountains, and up and up, go I.
❖
O Lord, thank you for the mountain.

Consider:
Can I be truly grateful today?
