Surprise
Out of the blue.
A knock at the door, when I thought all were asleep.
A storm, out of clear skies.
When I thought all was arranged, calamity comes to upend the tables.

Let me, Lord, see how surprise is a part of your creation. Grant me acceptance, even as I would hide from the knock at the door.
