I search for you diligently, Lord, in thickets, among brambles, behind rocks and in streams.
All around me I see your grace and glory -- yet without is not where I find you. It is within.
❖
Into all these places, you accompany me. On the mountaintop, you whisper into my heart. In the storm, quiet murmurs. Only one already close could be heard so clearly in the tumult.
In my seeking and seeking, I need only look inside to find you.
Let me look inside, Lord.
– from the mountain
Consider:
Can I more readily look inside for you, Lord?
