My Offerings
Given, and received.
What have I to offer you, Lord? This dwelling, a chair, a book. My garden. Simple things.
Of my inner life and resources, too, what there? A small measure of devotion. Effort in the face of obstacles. My worries, my praise.
All simple things.
❖
You whispered in my ear, and told me if I incline to you that you will draw near to me. Even these meager offerings are enough.
Let me receive your miracle, Lord.
