Let Go
Of everything.
One day I will let go of all things.
One day I will come home to you, traveling a final time up the winding pathway into the hills.
One day a last breath will leave me, and I will have deeper peace than ever has been felt.
❖
Can I let go, moment by moment, and be present today? Can I let go of yesterday’s regrets and tomorrow’s worries, living here with you, now?
For one day that will be my only choice, and the decision will not be mine.
Let me let go, Lord.
