I have built this dwelling on the hillside. It overlooks the valley. I eat from the garden. There is a well.
With no obvious needs, I feel independent.

Lord, you collect the weather, you bring the rains. You refrain from washing away my hillside house.
Am I still independent? I need your daily intercession.
Lord, let me see how dependent upon you I am.
