A narrow path along a cliff face, yet you are here by my side. I can scarcely believe this feeling of safety in the face of such long drop.
An exposed position, yet you blind pursuers with reflected sun.
A burning building, yet you are with me as I slip through the smoke to safety.
A tense and troubled heart, yet you are with me to teach ease.
❖
Let me learn to trust you under all conditions, Lord.
– from the mountain
Consider:
Can I appreciate this safety?
