Emptiness
Clarity.
Yesterday my day, my heart, was full. Overflow and abundance.
Today, emptiness. No leaves on the trees, the river dry, open space in my chest.
❖
When the river is low, I see the rocks and can remove them. When I am empty, I see myself, I see the world for what it is: a blank canvas for messages from you, Lord.
Let me seek this empty time.

Consider:
Can I enjoy this emptiness?
