I am walking a slow, stony path up this mountain. Last night as I retired, exhausted, I felt the woe of things. Such slow progress.
Today, mountain dawn, all is new! There is another road I had not seen. The new way is smooth and has few stones to turn the ankle.
And look: yet another way up. I could climb this gentle face, where handholds present themselves each easily grasped.

In the face of this choice, I might have asked myself: why do we plod?
Today, enriched by choice, let me bound forward and up.
